1. Sign into myOasis and go to your myOasis page (click the menu tab)2. Click on Customize myOasis (top right corner)3. The two graphics at the top and right can be changed by using the Change Graphic buttons.4. Change the welcome text to your own personal greeting. You can change the words, the font size, the text color, and alignment – just like you would on your favorite word processor.5. Consider making the blue boxes (My Friends, My Comments, etc.) “Public: Visible to everyone” or “Friends: Visible to me and my friends only”. This allows others to see your contributions and activities. The default setting for these blue boxes is “Private: visible to me only” so even though you may see them, others do not.6. Now, go back to Customize myOasis, and click Edit My Profile.7. Of special note, you can input a picture of yourself here. A personal photograph is good. But you can also place a logo there – or some other graphic if you choose.8. There is a box at the bottom, called: “Summary of the above”. Place a short description of what you have to offer, or what you hope to accomplish there. This text appears beside your picture and your Nickname on the People page. It is what most people will first see about you.9. Customizing myOasis will make you seem much more approachable, increase your personal profile, and help you to get the most from Entrepreneur Oasis.10. If you have any questions, or if need more assistance, please leave a message for me. I’m happy to help.Cheers,Peter RossReplyApr 17, 2009 13:46 EDTThread 1
