EntreOasis makes it easy to correlate individual learning Resources to Education Standards around the world. Educators benefit because they can quickly and easily find Resources that are directly relevant to their curricula. And, Resource publishers benefit through increased awareness and adoption of their Resources.
Here's how it works:
- EntreOasis has a number of Education Standards available. Education Standards include learner performance indicators and learning outcomes for specific courses or learning experiences.
- The Education Standards that are in EntreOasis are sourced from regional or national standards-setting organizations. These may include government agencies, departments of education, school districts, educational institutions, nonprofits, or companies.
- The Education Standards that are in EntreOasis are either publicly distributable or posted with the permission of the copyright owner. Contact us if you would like to see your Education Standards added to EntreOasis.
- Individual Resources posted on EntreOasis can be correlated to one or more Education Standards – we call these Standards Maps. Anyone can create a Standards Map for any Resource.
- Education Standards can be correlated to each other – we call these Standards Webs.

Standards Maps
A Standards Map is a chart that correlates an individual Resource to a specific Education Standard. Anyone can create a Standards Map for any Resource on EntreOasis (regardless of who added the Resource to EntreOasis). And, different people can create their own Standards Maps for the same Resource.
To view or create a Standards Map for a specific Resource, navigate to the Resource and click the Education Standards Maps link in the Resource Details section.

Standards Webs
A Standards Web is a chart that correlates one set of Education Standards to another set of Education Standards. This is unlike a Standards Map, which correlates a Resource to Education Standards.
For example, the Entrepreneurship Education Standards for Region A can be correlated to the Entrepreneurship Education Standards for Region B. Once this correlation (Web) is made, any Resource that is correlated to the Entrepreneurship Education Standards for Region A will automatically be correlated to the Entrepreneurship Education Standards for Region B, and vice versa.
The Standards Web feature also enables correlation between Education Standards for different subjects. For example, Education Standards for Entrepreneurship can be correlated to Education Standards for Math.
This very powerful Standards Web feature can help accelerate and standardize the mapping of Resources to curricula around the world, making it easier for educators to adopt and share useful Resources.
