Yes, that means entrepreneurs have 140 characters, tops, to explain their start-up ideas — making the classic elevator pitch, which can take a couple of minutes (sometimes in an actual elevator, as with Wake Forest University’s annual event), feel downright dilatory.It took business plan competition organizers some time to embrace the brevity-requiring, social media platform of Twitter in the first place.
