Strategic Integration of Entrepreneurship Education

Welcome to a place where you can post resources, discuss strategies, share successes and challenges, and ask questions – if you are passionate about integrating Entrepreneurship Education across your campus and post-secondary institution.

My name is Lisa Lowthers and I work for a not-for-profit organization - called the Acadia Centre for Social & Business Entrepreneurship (ACBSE) - affiliated with Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada.

For the past 20 years ACSBE and Acadia have been working to integrate entrepreneurship across our campus with some pretty good results.  Our model focuses on curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities; and support all the way from the President on down to Alumni.

A few years back, I began to realise that there were others out there challenged with the same vision. In the summer of 2008, ACSBE offered the first international colloquium on Strategic Integration at Acadia, and we just did a second smaller event in Vancouver Nov, 2009 at BCIT.

I hope that you are joining this group looking for comrades in arms; for those facing some of the same challenges and opportunities; looking to share successes and to ask questions in order to learn from each other.

I am always looking for ways to enrich my program and create...a culture where people take initiative to fulfill their potential to create a better world.
Welcome to my neighbourhood.

Cheers,
Lisa Lowthers, APEC-CBC
